There are so many ways you can spend your time as you sail towards a
new destination, and onboard the Island Escape, even doing nothing
is a pleasure.
Gym
If you like to unwind by exercising body and mind, there is a
bright, well-equipped gym with treadmills, cross trainers, exercise
bikes and leg curl station. Our trainers are on hand with tips and
advice and can even plan a personal fitness programme for you to
'work that body'. If the gym isn't your thing, you can always join
in our aerobics classes that cater for beginners and experienced
alike.
Pool
Big enough for a quick dip or a splash around the Island Escape’s
pool is often the centre of attention during days at sea. Surrounded
by sunbeds with waiter service from the Mirage Bar it’s the
favourite spot on the ship for enjoying the sun and getting to know
your fellow travellers.
Beauty Salon
Our beauty salon is another popular attraction where all the
services of a first class salon are yours to enjoy. From massage,
manicure and pedicure, right through to detox body wraps and
facials, stylists and beauticians will pamper you and keep you
looking - and feeling - great.
Café Brasil
Escape from the heat of the day to the air-conditioned Café Brasil.
Take in the views from the panoramic windows while you treat
yourself to a speciality coffee or tea and maybe even a delicious
pastry.
Shops
Below deck there are smart shops to browse around and treat yourself
or find gifts to take home. With watches, perfumes and clothing
there's bound to be something that takes your eye.
The Island Escape has a variety of cabin styles to suit every
customer’s needs. All are equipped to a high standard with
contemporary fixtures and fittings. Take your pick from the 3D
representations below or for something a little special, try one of
our luxury suites.
Standard cabins on the Island Escape are of a similar size and
equipped with a minimum of two lower beds that can be converted into
a double bed, air-conditioning, television, telephone, radio, safe,
wardrobe and drawer space, dressing table and mirror and power
sockets (110v US two pin adaptor required). All have en-suite shower
rooms with WC and hand basin. The Suites and Balcony cabins have
sockets for Internet access from your laptop computer.
The Island Escape is among the first cruise ships to offer a mobile
phone service whilst at sea. If you have a ‘pay monthly’ mobile
phone, you’ll be able to make and receive calls, text and access
your voicemail messages no matter how far from land. Call rates and
availability are dependent on your mobile phone network.
